Cheers, or shall we say Prost?
It's always five o'clock in Germany 🇩🇪 -- especially when you're on a hoppy beercation with Bathtub Brewing Company and Inside Europe Beertours. If you're traveling Air-Land, you'll leave from ABQ on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, arriving the next day, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at FRA (Frankfurt Airport) in Germany. From here, the beer tour leads you to Würzburg, Bamberg, Munich -- with two local beer fest experiences, four+ brewery visits, and many tastings.
The more join, the hoppier the tour
With Inside Europe Beer tours, you don't just experience what you see at the beginning of the tour planning, but we'll continuously add on to your tour based on our travelers' interests and tastes.
Once 25+ travelers are registered and paid the non-refundable deposit, the journey is a go by bus (alternatively, as a smaller group you'll travel by train). Since certain shared costs are the same whether for 25 or 40, especially when it comes to transport-related expenses (coach, driver, gas, highway fees), your Bavarian beer tour's offerings will increase with the number of participants. e.g., additional stops will be added (a visit to the monastery brewery of Andechs, a day-trip to Bayreuth, Augsburg, or Regensburg).
Either way, make sure to come thirsty and hungry as we're not just fellow beer lovers, but also foodies.
What's included
For Air-Land Only
Economy class group flight on American AA from ABQ via DFW to Frankfurt and back, with one checked bag.
For Everyone
Expert Host in Germany
Fellow beer lover Ted is your host in Germany, ensuring all logistic are taken care of and language barriers overcome. Plus, Ted shares insights and insider tips to make the most of your free time.
Transportation
Travel from/to Frankfurt and all destinations mentioned by either train and public transportation (under 25 travelers) or private coach with driver (25 or more) for group events.
Accommodation
Stay in modern, pre-inspected city center hotels in Würzburg, Munich and either Bayreuth (if traveling by bus) or at Frankfurt airport (if traveling by train)
Daily Breakfast
Don't skip breakfast which is either included at your hotel or offered in nearby, local cafés or breweries
Three Hearty Meals
Gather for three XXL meals served family style, with the first round of drinks included too. There'll be plenty of wurst and other local specialties -- with vegetarian or gluten-free options.
Daily Beer-Tastings
Sample four or more local beers each day -- meeting the makers, learning about different styles. We'll include unique brews like Rauchbier in Bamberg or Festbier and Starkbier -- with NA alternatives
Two Beer Festivals
Experience both the Frühlingsfest in Würzburg and Starkbierfest in Munich - with reserved seating, tasting of local specialties and 1 Mass (1 liter) of fest beer already included.

What's not included
For Air-Land Only
Increase in Airline Taxes and/or Fuel Surcharges after 5/6/25 (30 seats are confirmed at $1,060 per traveler in economy class). Group air cannot be changed or upgraded.
For Everyone
Personal services, meals + drinks when you're on your own, souvenirs, taxis, laundry, etc.
Pre/Post Stays
Cost for hotel, transportation, services if arriving earlier or staying longer
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance with TRIP CANCELLATION IS MANDATORY to ensure that the tour is not affected if participants cancel. You can choose your own provider or our recommended partner ArchRoam.
